Baredine and wine tasting

The Baredine cave – the underground world of stalactites and stalagmites – is always an interesting site for exploration. Grant yourself a respite from summer heat and get down into the cave and its pleasant 14 degrees (centigrade, of course!).

The path opened to tourists, about 300 metres long, crosses five richly decorated halls. You will also have the opportunity to see the unique underground inhabitants of the Dinaric karst and the most interesting among them, the olm or proteus, the “human fish” in local parlance.

The guided visit takes about 40 minutes. After the cave we shall visit a well-known Istrian wine producer to taste his wines.

Which tasting programme would suit you best? Taste the wine in combination with delicious Istrian dishes? Or all that with music? Or sightseeing in Rovinj with a professional guide? Trust us!

An additional challenge for the more courageous is a speleological climb on a test site near the cave.
